Many of these new photos were taken before  Students and Pastors arrived.   Brother Chuck spent 3 days going all  over the city of POP to buy provisions for the Students and Pastor teams coming a few days later.

 First we went in and ordered hundreds of pounds of rice, beans and other supplies.

 This building supply company named  “ batimat” is our source of  lumber and building supplies in Haiti.

The only air conditioned building we experienced during our three days of gathering provisions and supplies before the two teams arrived. 

  This is a  Bible Book Store. We went here to buy several boxes of Hatian Bibles

The earlier update shows many photos from Haiti, but most of them were from the Pastor’s Conference.  I’ve just got to show you some pictures of our student team that went to the mountains to Haiti the last week of March.  They gave up their whole spring break  to serve and held Vacation Bible Schools at five voodoo villages.  Plus one at the main Jerusalem Church Complex.

Remember now, there was no TV, no internet, no cell phone reception, no running water, no indoor bathroom facilities…. We had a few hours of electricity in the evening from a generator.    It was a real cultural shock to all.
