What a group. Fun, fun, fun. We had so many people, the lifeguards came back on duty. What an attraction….
They came from all over…. Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and even Florida. What a fun way to spend Christmas Eve afternoon……….

Would you believe that the smallest one yelled, “ RUN” !!

Then they got silly..

If you’ve ever been to the Gulf Coast, you know how much the sand looks like snow. In fact many motion pictures have passed off the sand as snow.
This family picked November to have their pictures taken. Not too cold, but that’s only because the wind was calm.

The two boys were in constant motion, but they were fun.
Here’s Hannah, Jared, Jason, and Gabbie….

This is Hannah…

That “golden hour” evening sun sure added some red to Darin’s face.

Looks like Julie and Darin are enjoying this moment alone together… wonder why?

This family was another great group from Tennessee. We had so much fun with the kids. As you can see from the photos,
they were constant motion.
She was a doll. Believe it or not, she was very cooperative for the pictures too.
I don’t think we’ve had a photo shoot like this one since…. It was so much fun.

The beach and water were so beautiful those days.

I thought it was very interesting that the flash and the lighting had such a strange effect on this shot.
Notice the line of shadows along his arms and behind the ball.
It’s almost as if he was standing in front of a matt painting.

This Family Picked a Great Time to Visit the Beach

Note: Look at the difference in the color of these shots and the color that the sun created in the shots of the previous family’s photos. Just amazing what the sun can do.

Another family from Tennessee made a wise decision and decided to come to Destin during October. The are no crowds and no bumper to bumper traffic. On the other hand, there are beautiful beaches with clean clear water and some of the most beautiful sunsets you will find anywhere.
Not much of a sunset for this photo. The sunset came a little later. That’s one reason these photos have more blue .
This is David and Heidi and their kids.

This was the photo they selected for their 2009 Christmas Card.

The weather was beautiful that week.

This past Monday afternoon we had a beach shoot for a family of 6. Rather interesting and fun. Although we have known them for many years, I had never paid attention to one very interesting fact. Three of them are blonde and three of them are red-heads.

Here are the three reds…… (See why it’s called “The Golden Hour”)?

and the three blondes. The sunset added so much red that they even looked like “reds”.

Here are Manuel, Blanca, Beatriz and Carlos. They came all the way from Seville, Spain. Can you believe it??
Of course these pictures are a couple of years old, but for those of you who don’t know, I met Manuel on the Audrey 1 Forum and when they came over to see Disney World, we brought them up to Fort Walton Beach for a visit. Golly, did we have fun and enjoy taking them around. Wal-Mart was Blanca’s favorite place to shop. Her Euros sure bought a lot.

Brian and Rebecca were fun. As you can, see they had more fun after they got a little silly.

I’m a bit behind with posting our beach photo shoots. I’ll probably get on a roll and post several over the next few days.
These pictures are of Robby’s family. They are particularly important to his wife and parents since Robby left a few days later for a one year tour in Afganistan.

Lots of people, several photographers, and even two weddings. All on our beach at the same time.
Here are some of our photos of a family from Jackson, Tennessee.
